A Bellman’s main duty is carrying luggage for the guests as they come to or leave the hotel. He should also attend the main entrance door and welcome/farewell guests, arrange and manage transfers, help guests with directions and perform as the first and last impression for them. Upon check-in, escorting guest to their respective rooms and explaining the rooms’ features is also a daily task.
To maintain the building security by monitoring and responding to fire alarms, securing doors, performing walk-throughs, responding to emergency situations, take required readings on equipment, and contacting proper authorities when needed. Answers radio calls and responds to guest room and public area calls in a prompt and professional manner according to standards. Works closely with the Overnight Manager, Auditors and Loss Prevention providing services in all areas of the hotel. Must be able to clean a guest room providing housekeeping services if required. This person must be able to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays. Primarily works overnight hours and may work other shifts.
The Director of Finance directs the accounting and control functions at the hotel, while ensuring timely reporting of operating results and maintenance of the integrity of the management information system
